Stuck With Sturrock!
After the anti-climax of Friday's press conference the news is… there is no news! We are still stuck with Paul Sturrock!
Plymouth Argyle chairman Sir Roy Gardner delivered a statement that struck a blow to many Argyle fans - manager Paul Sturrock is staying!
What a complete let-down and a total disregard for the feelings of the fans, a 'kick in the teeth' as Sturrock would say.
Gardner's statement is quite amazing considering the strength of feeling amongst the fans towards Sturrock; he also mentions that the board of directors 'feel every point lost just as passionately as any fan'. How patronising - how many Argyle games has Gardner seen this season, two, three at most?
The board have not listened to the fans, so now it is up to the fans to remove Sturrock from Home Park. Keep the pressure on, keep writing in to the local newspapers, keep posting comments on Argyle websites, keep writing letters to the club and more importantly make your feelings known at the games.
Today against Ipswich Town chant for the removal of Sturrock, regardless if the team is winning or not, that is irrelevant at this stage. The long term future of PAFC is at stake, it is now up to the fans to save the club, we simply have to get Sturrock out!

At the moment it is just very hard to see what the new board are trying to do. If they are serious about getting us into the Premiership in 5 years time they must have something up their sleeve, perhaps they have someone lined up in January and can't get them in yet ? It is just very strange how they have kicked out 2 of his backroom staff and not him !
