MacDonald In L2 Team Of The Week

Plymouth Argyle striker Alex MacDonald has been included in the League Two Team of the Week following his performance and goal against Southend United on Saturday.

MacDonald, on-loan from Burnley, put Argyle ahead in the 50th minute before Southend equalised just four minutes later.

MacDonald has been playing on the right side of midfield and today revealed that he would like a permanent move to Home Park.

The Team of the Week is produced by the Press Association and features the eleven top performing players from matches played each weekend.

The League Two Team of the Week:

Chris Neal - Port Vale.
Sido Jombati - Cheltenham.
Scott Doe - Dagenham & Redbridge.
John McCombe - Port Vale.
Jamal Fyfield - York.
Alex MacDonald - Argyle.
Michael O'Connor - Rotherham.
Darren Carter - Cheltenham.
Michael Coulson - York.
Alex Nicholls - Northampton.
Tom Barkhuizen - Fleetwood.

Congratulation to Alex!

Argyle having a player (or 2) in team of the week becoming a regular thing. A definite sign things r on the up. Happy days indeed.
