Argyle Sign Griffiths

Plymouth Argyle have signed Peterborough United defender Scott Griffiths on a one month loan.

The 26-year old will go straight into the squad for tonight's Johnston's Paint Trophy game against Aldershot at Home Park.

Argyle boss Carl Fletcher is missing several defenders through injury and suspension and moved quick to sign Griffiths.

The former England C player, who is yet to feature for Posh this season, enjoyed loan spells at Crawley, Rotherham and Chesterfield last season and has now been placed on the transfer list at London Road.

Welcome aboard the good ship Mayflower, Scott.
