Loan Transfer Window Set To Close

Will Argyle manager Carl Fletcher sign another player before the loan window closes today at 5pm?

The Football League emergency loan window closes today giving clubs from the Championship to the Conference the last chance to wheel and deal in the loan market.

Will Fletch add another player or two to his squad for the game against Chesterfield on Saturday? Will some players be leaving Home Park? Will a big name be heading up the A38?

With Darren Purse suspended for two games and struggling for form a centre-back would appear to be a priority for Fletch, although many fans would like to see another striker added to the ranks.

The loan window also allows Fletch the chance to send out the fringe players to other clubs, especially several of the youngsters who need some first-team experience.

With finances still understandably restricted at Home Park signing loan players' was always going to be the best option to boost the Argyle squad.
