Father & Son To Officiate In Devon Derby

Father and son team Graham and Michael Salisbury will officiate in the Devon Derby match between Plymouth Argyle and Torquay United at Home Park on Boxing Day.

The unusual family team will see Lancashire-based Graham as the match referee and Michael as a linesman.

Graham is an experienced referee having joined the National List in 2001 and has been a regular whistle-blower in the Championship this season.
Paul Rees will be the other assistant referee with Andrew Bennett as the fourth official.

The match against our Devon rivals will kick-off at 1pm.

'Was that a penalty to the Greens, son?'
'Yes dad, stonewall'.
