McCormick Looking For League Return

Former Plymouth Argyle keeper Luke McCormick is keen to return to professional league football.

McCormick was recently released from prison and signed for Conference South side Truro City and is now attracting interest from several League One and Two clubs.

Speaking to Sky Sports McCormick's agent Clive Hart said: 'Luke has really enjoyed his time at Truro and playing football again and he would love the chance to get back into the Football League.
'A number of sides have been keeping tabs on Luke as he has done well at Truro so we will consider all our options.'

McCormick, 29, played for Argyle between 2001 and 2008 making 157 appearances but had his contract cancelled by mutual consent in July 2008 after causing a car crash that killed two children.
The keeper was sentenced to seven years in prison but was released in June this year and was invited to train with Swindon Town.

I would have him back at Argyle. A very good keeper.

He's served his sentence so would welcome him back at home park. He was a fine keeper for us before, although we could do with a decent striker first
