Reid Returns To Argyle
New Argyle manager John Sheridan has made his fifth signing by snapping up striker Reuben Reid on a one month loan deal from Yeovil Town.
The 24-year old frontman started his career at Argyle and returns to Home Park after playing for 12 different clubs.
Reid made 12 appearances for Argyle and had loan spells at Kidderminster and Rochdale but each loan period ended early due to disciplinary problems. Further loan deals at Torquay, Wycombe and Brentford followed before he was released by Argyle in 2008.
A year at Rotherham saw Reid produce the best scoring period of his career so far, notching up 18 goals from 41 league games.
Championship side West Bromwich Albion responded to Reid's good form and signed him in July 2009, however, first team appearances were limited at the Hawthorns and Reid moved on-loan to Peterborough and Walsall.
After 18 months at Oldham Reid was on the move again and signed for Yeovil Town in July 2012.
The striker has scored six goals from 25 games for the Glovers this season, with his last appearance coming on New Year's Day.
Welcome back on board the good ship Mayflower, Reuben.
