Williams Signs For Limerick

Former Argyle defender Robbie Williams has signed for Irish side Limerick.

The 28-year old left-back was released by new Argyle manager John Sheridan last month after spending 18 months at the club.

After signing Williams Limerick manager Stuart Taylor said: 'We are delighted to get a player of Robbie's talent and experience on board. That experience will be of great benefit to us in the team as well as helping the younger players in the squad as well as those I'll look to develop from our U19 squad.'

Limerick start the new season in the Irish Premier League on March 9th and finish in October.
