Chadwick Joins Tamworth
Argyle striker Nick Chadwick has joined Conference side Tamworth on-loan.
The 30-year old striker was transfer-listed by Pilgrims' boss John Sheridan during the summer and picked up an injury during the pre-season schedule and has only just returned to fitness.
Sheridan has been short of striker options since losing Matt Lecointe and Marvin Morgan through injury but chose to sign Brentford striker Paul Hayes on-loan instead of selecting Chadwick.
Speaking to club website Sheridan said: 'I`ve been honest with Chaddy all along.
'If he could get a club that would suit him and would enable him to go and get some football then I wouldn`t stand in his way.
'He's an experienced player and it's only right that he should be playing.'
This was Chadwick's second spell at Argyle and he was instrumental in the Greens avoiding relegation from League Two in the 2011-2012 season.
The former Everton player has a contract at Home Park until the end of this season.
Tamworth are in 19th place in the Conference league, two points away from the relegation zone.
Good luck Chadders!
