Argyle Sign Parsons

Plymouth Argyle have signed defender Matt Parsons from Crystal Palace on a permanent deal.

Argyle boss John Sheridan attempted to sign the 22-year old left-back during the summer and has now finally tied up a deal until the end of this season.

Parsons will be reunited with former Palace team-mate Jason Banton who signed for the Greens last week.
Sheridan has struggled to find a regular left-back all season with various players slotting into that position, the latest being 17-year old Ben Purrington who has done an excellent job but will now face competition from Parsons.

Parsons graduated through the Selhurst Park youth academy but has struggled to play first-team football and moved on-loan to Barnet and Wycombe.

Welcome aboard the good ship Mayflower, Matt!
