McCormick Out For The Season

Argyle keeper Luke McCormick will miss the rest of the season after picking up a hand injury in last Saturday's game against Mansfield Town.

McCormick fractured and dislocated a finger following a collision with Stags midfielder Sam Clucas during the second half and was replaced by Jake Cole.

Argyle manager John Sheridan has now confirmed that McCormick will miss the rest of the season and that he is looking to sign a keeper on-loan from a Championship club to be an understudy for Cole.

Losing McCormick is a huge blow although fortunately Sheridan has an excellent keeper in Jake Cole ready to step in.
McCormick was in fine form and on course for the Player of the Season award.
