Argyle Sign Hartley

Argyle sign former Stevenage defender Peter Hartley on a two-year deal.

The 26-year old 6-foot 2-inch tall centre-back will provide leadership and experience at the heart of Argyle defence.

Hartley becomes John Sheridan's fifth early signing of the summer and also follows the re-signing of Paul Wotton, Luke McCormick and Curtis Nelson.
The Argyle squad is now looking very strong and Sheridan and the board of directors have done well to capture their targets early when clubs usually wait until July before making any new signings.

Hartley left Stevenage at the end of last season and has also played nearly 200 for Hartlepool.

Welcome aboard the good ship Mayflower, Peter!
