Argyle Sign Bittner

Plymouth Argyle have signed goalkeeper James Bittner.

The much-travelled 32-year old shot-stopper was a player-coach at Conference side Salisbury City last season following a spell at Hereford and a short loan at Newport.

Bittner's move to Home Park completes a hat-trick of signing for all Devon clubs, having also been at Exeter and Torquay.

The keeper only played seven games for Salisbury last season but completed almost a full season for Hereford in season 2012-2013.

Bittner has signed a one-year contract and will provide cover for Luke McCormick, he will also work closely with the Argyle Community Trust.

Welcome aboard the good ship Mayflower, James!
