Who's Staying, Who's Going?
Plymouth Argyle have published their retained list for next season.
Some players have not been offered new contracts and been released, while others have been offered new deals to stay at Home Park.
The article on the club website detailing the end of season departures surprisingly does not mention manager John Sheridan as the man behind these decisions and put the message out as a 'club retained list' or being 'released by Plymouth Argyle' rather than a list of players that Sheridan has decided upon.
It's usual for a manager to pass comment, thank the departing players and give an insight to some of his decisions.
The biggest shock is the departure of Jason Banton, it seems it was his decision to leave. The winger has not played a full part in the team this season due to injuries and non-selection.
Dominic Blizzard is another high profile player on his way up the A38.
Meanwhile the four loan players, Tarieq Holmes-Dennis, Gethin Jones, Bobby Reid and Zak Ansah, have all returned to the parent clubs.
New deals have been offered to Lewis Alessandra, Tyler Harvey, James Bittner and Anthony O`Connor.
And contract options have been taken up with Peter Hartley and Aaron Bentley.
Argyle legend Paul Wotton has also officially retired and will concentrate on his coaching duties.
