Green Army Home & Away

Green Army Home & Away

Despite relegation into League Two in 2011 the supporters of Argyle have continued to back their team home and away.

The average attendance at Home Park has steadily increased season-by-season since 2011 with the current season set to attract even higher crowds as promotion to League One looks a very good possibility.

It's now our sixth season in League Two and the average home attendance has increased from 6,915 in 2011-2012 to 9,054 last season and this season the average attendance at Home Park is already at 8,927 with big games and a local derby against Exeter City still to come.

Last season's home average of just over 9,000, which included the play-off game against Portsmouth, was the highest since the halcyon days in the Championship.

The travelling support has also recorded excellent numbers since we dropped into the bottom tier because for each season in League Two the fans have regularly averaged over 700 plus for each away game and last season the average away support was an incredible 1,039 per game.

In total just over one million fans have watched the team at Home Park in League Two since the 2011-2012 season while over 103,000 members of the Green Army have hit the road to follow the team at away games.

The fans have certainly backed the team in League Two over the last six years.
