Fans Back Argyle Home & Away

Despite relegation into League Two in 2011 Argyle supporters have continued to back their team home and away.

Since 2011 the average attendance at Home Park has steadily increased season-by-season with the current season witnessing the highest crowds since Argyle were relegated to League Two.

It's now our sixth season in League Two and the average home attendance has increased from 6,915 in 2011-2012 to 9,272 for this season with two games at Home Park still to play. Only Portsmouth have a better home average attendance in League Two this season.

The travelling support has also recorded excellent numbers since we dropped into the bottom tier because for each season in League Two the fans have regularly averaged over 700-plus for each away game, and last season the average away support was an incredible 1,039 per game.
The average away support for this season has dipped slightly to 871 per game with another four away games to come; only Portsmouth, Luton Town and Grimsby have averaged better attendances on the road in League Two this season.

In total nearly 1.1 million fans have watched the team at Home Park in League Two since the 2011-2012 season while over 100,000 members of the Green Army have hit the road to follow the team at away games.

The Green Army have certainly backed the team over the last six years.
