Going The Extra Mile

The Argyle squad and fans will be travelling over 12,000 miles in League One next season if Blackpool are promoted in the League Two play-off final on Sunday.

The Greens will break through the 12,000 mile barrier in round trips to the 23 away games in League One next season, a total of 12,122 miles or if Exeter City win the play-off final the miles on the road will drop to 11,572 - just 67 miles less than the season just finished.

If Blackpool take their place in League One the Greens will face five round trips of over 600 miles while over two thirds of away games will be 500 plus miles; the longest away days will be to Fleetwood Town and Bradford City while the shortest will be the 245 round trip to Bristol Rovers.

The Greens have clocked up over 10,000 miles in each of the last five seasons.

2012-2013: 10,908 miles.
2013-2014: 10,959.
2015-2016: 11,025.
2016-2017: 11,639.
2017-2018: 12,122 if Blackpool are promoted.
2017-2018: 11,572 if Exeter are promoted.
