Argyle Sign Lameiras
Argyle have signed former Coventry City midfielder Ruben Lameiras.
The Portugese-born attacking midfielder was released by the Sky Blues following their relegation from League One at the end of last season and becomes the second signing of the summer for Argyle manager Derek Adams.
Lameiras is a creative flair player who can play on either wing or just behind the striker, his best asset is to spot a pass and thread the ball through a packed defence.
He started his career in England with Tottenham Hotspur at the age of 10 and progressed to play in the under-21 team; he moved to Swedish side Atvidabergs in March 2015 before signing for Coventry the following summer.
Last season he made 37 appearances and scored five goals.
